Loving Every Other Minute of It on Vinyl!!!
I’m like everyone these days, checking COVID news for my state and country, learning to get used to a face mask and hand sanitizer, wondering what’s going to happen next.
With COVID, my plans have shifted a bit, but through it all, my next solo album Loving Every Other Minute of It has managed to stay on track for its November 7th, 2020 release. If you haven’t yet seen the Rebecca Kelley-designed cover, you have now, and Bret and I are thrilled with the final mastered tracks. All that’s left to do is get the thing to you.
After your input, I’ve decided to release the album in three different forms — vinyl, CD, and mp3 download. The vinyl — a limited-edition set of 100 — is already in press, and I expect to finalize the rest in August.
I’m now starting to wrap my head around promotion. With COVID in the picture, I’ve had to cancel plans for a record release party, but I’ve started to put together some other ideas that might make sense in our new world order. I’ll keep you posted.
Until then, take a listen to Bret Hartley’s and my side project In Lieu. This is a six-song EP with Bret on guitars and production, the ridiculously talented Colin Agnew on drums, and me on bass doing my best to screw them up at every turn. The EP’s available at Band Camp. Give the tracks a listen, and if you like what you hear, Band Camp makes it easy to drop a few bucks to make them yours.
That’s it for now. Have a safe and healthy summer.
