If you buy the vinyl version of Loving Every Other Minute of It, get the mp3 version for $5!!!
While we designed the vinyl version of Loving Every Other Minute of It, I became vaguely aware of download cards.
Apparently, you can include a download card with each vinyl copy sold, and that way folks who make the investment into vinyl also can download the mp3 version of the album.
This sounded like a great idea, but with everything else going on, I didn’t get around to exploring download cards. I suspected it would cost more, and the cost of our limited-edition vinyl pressing was already pretty impressive.
This leads me to my high school friend Matt Hancher.
Matt wanted to support his fellow Moline Maroon by buying Loving Every Other Minute of it on vinyl, but he wanted the mp3 versions of the songs as well. The mp3 version of the album comes out via bandcamp.com on November 6th, but it doesn’t seem right to have folks pay $35 for the vinyl, then expect them to pony up another $10 for the mp3 version.
So, I’ve come up with a way for Matt and you to get both at a reduced price.
If you buy (or bought) the vinyl version of Loving Every Other Minute of It, I will transfer to you the mp3s of all of the songs from the album for an extra $5.
There is now a “Buy Now” button at the website for this option — $40 for the whole enchilada. Have at it.
If you already bought the vinyl version and would like the mp3s, shoot an email with “mp3s” in the header to arted@artedwards.com. I’ll send you a PayPal request for the difference. Then I’ll transfer you a link from wetransfer.com that allows you to download the mp3s. Wetransfer.com is a system I use all the time with my musician friends. It’s pretty painless.
And best of all, because I really do not want to keep track of who bought what, I will send you the link for the tunes as soon as possible — like, within a day or so. This means you’ll get the mp3s from the album well before they’re released as digital downloads.
Finally, if CDs are your thing, the CD version of Loving Every Other Minute of is available now at my website as well.
